How to Sell High-Ticket Coaching Offers and How to Sell High Ticket Coaching Programs with Confidence are two of the most popular questions I get from Spiritual Female Coaches on this blog and in my inbox monthly.  And I’m not really surprised. 

I know and understand how High-Ticket Sales can be uncomfortable or even feel sleazy for many Spiritual Women Coaches, when we’re not feeling aligned either with our High-Ticket Coaching Offers, not clear on our premium High-Ticket Clients, not clear on my High-Ticket Messaging and Positioning, or just not clear on What we’re even Selling.

This “How to Sell High-Ticket Coaching” blog post is focused on sharing the 10 High-Ticket Sales and Selling lessons I learned from being a Direct Sales Stylist for a few years with Stella & Dot.  I signed up as a Direct Sales Stylist about 51/2 years after I started my own fashion online and brick and mortar boutique because I really wanted to master Selling and Sales.  I figured, what better way to learn how to sell than to be a Seller, right?

In this video I dive right in and share the lessons I learned from Direct Sales and how that has been a huge catalyst in my High-Ticket Coaching Business, especially when it comes to how to sell High-Ticket Coaching Offers and Programs online and offline.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 1| How to Sell High-Ticket Coaching Offers with Connection

The beauty of Direct Selling is that it encourages you to be, do and create Connection. It empowers you to talk to people and teaches you how to really do it.  These days, with social media and texting and everything else out there, people don’t really talk to people, even in Sales.  Direct Sales helps you really learn how to connect and learn more about what potential clients really want so that you can create the specific results they desire.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 2 | Master Making Real Phone Calls and Sending Emails

Direct Sells teaches you how to reach out (by phone or email) prospective clients who have never even heard of you. Old School Sales, both cold and warm leads. 

What I’ve noticed in the Coaching world, is that we’ve gotten comfortable with expecting all our Sales and prospective clients to just land in our laps or come to us.  I am yet to meet Spiritual Female Coaches who are not content with Inbound Sales.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 3 | How to Sell High-Ticket Coaching Offers Using a Lead Generation Strategy

Direct Sales taught me a lot about creating a lead magnet wayyy before I even thought about quitting my job to be a Life Coach. 

Creating a stylist guide in exchange for emails and phone numbers was a natural extension of being a direct sales stylist.  I collected emails old school style- raffles, etc. and put the names and numbers in a spreadsheet.  I use the same strategy in my High-Ticket Coaching business to generate my warm leads, with a lead magnet that I post on my website, on all my social media accounts, and around the web, and when I’m a guest on someone’s podcast.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 4 | High-Ticket Clients

Just like what I’ve experienced in my High-Ticket Coaching Business, I noticed that over 20% of my Stella & Dot customers and shoppers were much more interested in my most expensive items and preferred to focus only on purchases that they knew would give them a higher return on their investment – they were more concerned with quality over anything else. 

With Coaching, I eventually switched from offering low ticket products like my $37 eBook and $197 membership because not only did I not have the foundation to sell enough $37 eBooks to generate 6-figures, my clients wanted something more transformational. A High-Ticket Coaching offer that would powerfully support them to co-create the exponential results they want. High-Ticket Clients focus more on their Rate of Return on Investment than they do on Price.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 5 | Social Media Marketing

Direct Sales made social media a natural part of Selling by supplying stylists with a portfolio of Celebrity photos all featuring some of today’s favorite celebrities wearing Stella & Dot jewelry at various events.  This made it easy to post the photos to social media with a direct link to the exact jewelry pieces on my direct stylist website.  Hello Cha Ching. 

It’s no different from sharing juicy details about my Signature High Ticket Offer, The Divine Intuitive MILLIONAIRE™ Experience, online.  Sure, it’s not the same as beautiful jewelry clients can see and touch, but I’ve learned the skills to immerse my potential clients in the experience of quickly adding multiple 6 or 7-figures to their coaching income, by sharing everything I can about the simplicity and ease of working less and earning radically more with High-Ticket Coaching Business Models or Boutiques.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 6 | How to Sell High-Ticket Offers by Pre-Handling Objections

With direct sales, I always assumed there were NO objections.  When you style the products in a way that appeals to EXACTLY what the client desires or didn’t even know they wanted until they saw it/hear it, you erase all objections to the Sale.

With High-Ticket Selling and Sales, this shows up as SHARING VALUE.  Not just random information, but transformational information potential clients can use NOW to take the leap to adding multiple 6 figures or 7-figures to their current income without working with me or any other coach.  I create this experience in my Divine Leap Lead Magnet and with my YouTube Videos, as well as in everything I share online and offline.

Powerful information that has clients saying, ‘it’s like you’re in my head,’ and ‘Where have you been all my life?’  It’s all in the messaging, positioning, and marketing.  The Sales conversation is just the finale.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 7 | The Power of the Follow Up

Honestly, I really didn’t know about the power of following up with clients before direct sales.  For years, I had been leaving money on the table in my fashion boutique because I wasn’t aware of the power of this ONE strategy and its effect on my bottom line.  With Direct Sales, 40% of my sales came from my follow-up with women I had met at other trunk shows, who at the time, either weren’t interested in buying or gave me their information to check in later in the year.

I see the same thing in Coaching.  Not everyone is ready to invest $25,000 or $100,000 in coaching at the same time, and if I have someone’s email or phone number or contact details from a previous event or meeting, I’m sure to follow up and see what they’re up to, learn more about what they’re creating or want to create and see how I can support them; even if it’s just sending a book recommendation or a link to an article that is related to what they’re up to.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 8 | The Beauty of Snail Mail

There’s nothing like opening your mail and seeing a handwritten note, card or letter.  This goes a long way in direct sales and in your High-Ticket Coaching Business.  Like I explained in the video, we all love getting something other than bills, credit card statements and food delivery flyers in our mailboxes.  Reach out and say hello.  It’s in the follow -up family.

High-Ticket Sales Lesson 9 | How to Sell High-Ticket Coaching Using the Power of Referrals

Referrals are honestly the warmest leads we can create in our businesses, whether it’s direct sales or coaching.  It removes that initial awkwardness that many Spiritual Women Coaches talk about when it comes to creating leads because all the work is done for you.  70% of my trunk show events for Stella & Dot came from referrals. I dive deeper into how I create referrals in the video.

Knowing the power of referrals in my direct sales business empowered me to create a direct referral program in my High-Ticket Coaching business where I pay $1,000 for every referred client who signs up to work with me in my High-Ticket Coaching Program, The Divine Intuitive MILLIONAIRE™ Experience, and this will increase to $2,500 per referral starting on January 1, 2022.

Truth bomb!  The only time you make money in your High-Ticket Coaching business or in any business is when you’re selling.
