Let’s be clear. The “HOW” thing is not limited to just coaches. Any service-based women entrepreneur would be happy to get a GPS for creating a profitable online business.

Questions looking for the exact steps to creating the thing you want.
Bullet points that tell you exactly what to do.

There is nothing wrong with asking the “HOW.” It is a legitimate step in creating a profitable business.

It’s just not the First Step.

If you’re focusing on the “HOW” when you’re looking to create your ideal clients or set a sales goal for the month, then you’re just looking for another way to stop yourself.

Getting in your own way so that you don’t meet your sales goals or create actual profits in your business.

Resorting to the “HOW” before anything else is a product of the subconscious fear of failure, fear of success, fear of criticism and fear of judgment.

By spending time chasing the “HOW,” you don’t have to do the thing. You get to press pause while you search for more answers.

So that you get it right.
So that you don’t look bad.
So that it’s perfect.

The usual limiting beliefs and money stories that keep you from creating ideal clients, a profitable niche and profits.

The money blocks that keep you in the safe and comfort zone of common female entrepreneur challenges like overwhelm, struggle and self-doubt.

Finding clients is so hard.
Creating a profitable coaching niche is so hard.
I have to work so hard to make 6 figures.
I’m so overwhelmed.
I can’t figure it out.
I can’t afford it.
I don’t have the time.
I need more training or another certification.
I need to wait until X, Y or Z happens first.

You get the point. Focusing on the “HOW” holds you back from all the opportunities in front of you. Holds you back from all the miracles right under your eyes.

It’s a distraction we create to keep us from getting what we truly want.

Because we’re afraid we don’t deserve it.
Because we’re afraid we’re not worthy.
Because we’re afraid we’re not yet ready.
Because we don’t think we can handle that level of success yet.

So, we resort to writing more to do lists.
Making more bullet points.

And that keeps us safe. Wrapped in our security blanket of procrastination and overwhelm.

And it’s all subconscious. Because you, me, none of us are walking around deliberately setting ourselves up to fail.

Yet we do.
