As business owners, we’re in business to give clients what they want so that we make money and make impact.
We add value, we get paid. Money is attracted to value. This is the foundation of the Millionaire Mindset.
And I’m sure we’re all wise enough to know that it doesn’t matter how “money rich” you are, money only solves money problems.
Talk about freedom. I remember the moment this ‘freedom insight’ truly landed for me. It was the day I partnered with God to quit my job to start my own business and I’ve never looked back.
I realized that freedom wasn’t having money to buy things whenever I wanted or pay for whatever I wanted when I needed it. That’s just solving a money problem.
True freedom is Shalom. True freedom is God’s Millionaire Mindset.
Shalom is wealth. health, life, peace of mind no matter what, being unflappable because you remember who and Whose you are, joy from within, purpose, relationships you love, faith, and of course, the resourcefulness to make money.
Being wealthy whether or not you’ve got money because more money, more sales, more revenue, more things won’t give you JOY, fulfillment or satisfaction, but they’ll buy you a nice home, the best healthcare and fun experiences, right?
The reality for many businesswomen is that most of their problems and challenges are NOT money problems.
When we’re unhealthy and have millions, all we think about is ONE thing. All we want is ONE thing.
When we’re healthy, we want millions.
Go figure.
Lately, more transformational women coaches are making MORE money than they’ve ever made, faster than they’ve ever done it. Especially in my work with high ticket sales.
Recently two of my colleagues made a million dollars in 60 minutes. Wild, right? That used to be true if you were into stocks and investments.
Now, all you’ve got to do is sell (high ticket coaching offers).
But what I’ve also noticed is the emptiness. One potential coaching client recently poured her heart out to me during our natural high-ticket sales conversation, that she’s made more sales and more money than she’s ever made, but she’s surprised that she’s not happier than she’s ever been.
She’s also the unhealthiest she’s ever been.
When we partner with God, and yet don’t put Him first – seeking first the Kingdom, so that all the other things come, it’s backwards. If you spend your health trying to make millions, money won’t give you back your health.
Making more sales and more money than you’ve ever made in your life WON’T make you happier than you’ve ever been in your life.
You can’t serve God and mammon.
I invite you to consider that mammon is NOT money (but it can be), so give yourself the grace to stop judging money.
Money is just one of the wealth tools we have for us to do MORE of God’s work through us. That’s it.
Mammon is anything or anyone you put before God. Your husband, your child, your family, yourself, your video games, the news, social media, complaining, sales, work, profits. Anything that is higher than God in your life.
What is the most important thing in your coaching business. You’ll never have God’s Shalom, the peace of God that passes all understanding if you don’t put God above whatever you consider the most important thing in your life.
It’s law. You’ll worry about that #1 thing until God becomes #1. What keeps you up at night? That’s what you’ve made mammon.
So, while I’m all about creating a simple business you love that makes high profits and impact, I’m first about seeking God first so that His wisdom guides you to do the work He wants to do through you for his people aka your clients.
